Greetings to Zion members,
In the weeks ahead, we will see progress being made on the HVAC repairs by the service tech-
nicians from Weeke Sales and Service. We may experience some delays in getting various
parts, but the work will continue as items come in.
At the last Voters Assembly, it was approved to begin a relationship with the Transfer the
Blessings program from LCMS. There are two parts to the program, with the first being an op-
portunity for each family to have access to a professional advisor in preparing estate planning.
The second part is to assist congregations in preparing for the future with the establishment of
an endowment fund managed by the local congregation. Pastor and I have met with Scott
Raden to begin the process of understanding the process of the endowment fund establishment.
I have two people agreeing to serve on this team, and I am looking for two more. If you are in-
terested, please contact me.
In the June/July time frame, it is planned to have the sanctuary repainted. We look forward to
a fresh look to God’s House!
As we move forward with the Covid restrictions becoming more open, please be patient and
friendly to fellow members. It was slow and difficult going into this, and it may be slow coming
out! But that is ok, as we all look forward to seeing everyone again and worshiping together as
a family again. When you get a chance, share a word of thanks with our Elders, as they have
spent hours working on creating a comfortable church home for us to come to.
To all who travel or take vacations during the summer months, we pray for your safety and en-
joyment of this world God has given us. May this be a relaxing time and a renewal of our fami-
ly devotion to God.
God’s Blessings to You!
Dale Wehmeyer, President
